Looking back at more then 30 years as a professional port and IT consultant, Sven Daniels has gained broad experience as a specialist in the fields of managing complex IT projects for the port and logistics industry. Sven has successfully implemented IT systems in ports and terminals in numerous countries around the world. Among others, he was responsible for the digitalization and automation of Hamburg’s largest container terminal Burchardkai, where he and his team implemented digitalized processes under full operating conditions. Sven Daniels is partner and product manager ‘Digitalization Excellence’ at HPC Hamburg Port Consulting (a 100% subsidiary of HHLA, Hamburg’s largest terminal operator), where he leads a team of approx. 40 professionals. He is a respected speaker at international conferences where he gives lectures and presentations on digitalization, process automation, and IT strategy.
