John Kueck has been a proud member of Maersk Line for the last 23 years. He joined Maersk after obtaining his BS in Maritime Administration from Texas A&M at Galveston in 2000. During his time at Maersk he has spent time in Empty Equipment Management, Export Customer Service, and Export Documentation. He was also able to obtain his Six Sigma Black Belt Certification during this time.

The last 10 years John has been the Sr. Operations Manager for the Gulf Coast overseeing the operations of all Maersk Line vessels calling Houston, New Orleans, Mobile and Tampa. John has just taken the role of Gulf Coast Optimization Manger where he is working with The Ports, Stevedores, and Pilots to improve operations with an eye to the future needs of the shipping community.
