Larry Medrano, the acting Cyber Security Manager for the Port of Corpus Christi, joined the organization in March 2020. He currently provides strategic guidance and leadership in the development, implementation, and continual advancement of the Port of Corpus’ Cyber Security program. Aside from his role at the Port of Corpus Christi, he also serves as the acting Deputy Chief of CyberSecurity & Threat Intelligence for the Houston FBI Infragard Maritime Cross Sector Council and is an acting Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the National Maritime Security Advisory Committee.

Mr. Medrano brings 10+ years of IT experience in the government sector and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional under ISC2. He holds a BS in Information Technology from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi as well as degrees in Information Systems Security and Network Administration from Del Mar College.
