Benoit Montreuil is Professor at Georgia Tech in the Stewart School of Industrial & Systems Engineering. He holds the Coca-Cola Chair in Material Handling and Distribution. He is Director of the Supply Chain & Logistics Institute and of the Physical Internet Center. He is co-leader the Net-Zero Freight Systems Program. World renowned researcher, he shapes the becoming of supply chains, logistic and transportation systems, aiming for order-of-magnitude improvements in adaptability, affordability, efficiency, hyperconnectivity, inclusivity, resilience, sentience, and sustainability. He is notably the inventor of the Physical Internet. He has a rich experience in collaborating with industry, recently with companies such as Aldi, Amazon, Home Depot, MiTek, SF Express, Steelcase, and UPS.
