Ben Trowbridge

Ben Trowbridge is an Award-Winning Advisor and executive in Cybersecurity, Technology, and Managed Services. He serves as an advisor and board member is Certified Cybersecurity Board oversight. He most recently led EYs Global Cybersecurity Managed Services providing Threat Detection and Response, Data Protection, Threat Exposure Management, and Identity Access Management.

In prior roles he has led teams that build and operated IT systems for Port, Rail, Trucking and Container Steamship industries. As a sourcing advisor he has evaluated hundreds of cybersecurity and outsourcing providers and most global delivery locations for suitability. These evaluations have led to over $155 billion in contracts and uniquely no adverse terminations.

Before his time at Ernst & Young, Mr. Trowbridge was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alsbridge, a third-party advisor for Outsourcing, Benchmarking, and Telecommunications transformation. The firm provided advice to management for outsourcing, shared services, telecommunications transformation, IT benchmarking, and transformation. The firm had over 250 consultants with operations in the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

Mr. Trowbridge was named on two occasions as an EY Entrepreneur (EOY) of the year finalist, and Consulting Magazine named Alsbridge a Top 10 firm.

Before Alsbridge, Mr. Trowbridge was a direct admit partner to Ernst & Young, where he led the creation of the Global Operate Company, which was a new business that provided complex IT and BPO-managed services in the US, Asia, and Europe, which was ultimately sold to Cap Gemini as a part of a €10B sale of EY consulting.

He currently serves on the boards of Southwest Power Pool, Arctic Security, and Working Solutions, as well as the advisory board of Abacode Cybersecurity and Compliance Managed Services. He is certified by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) in Board Cyber Risk Oversight and is a qualified Financial Expert.

Mr. Trowbridge was educated at the Northwestern State University of Louisiana, earning a Bachelor of Arts. He is a former United States Marine Corps Infantry Officer, is married, and has two children.
