Dwight Smith

Dwight E. Smith, Jr. originates from San Fernando, California, and graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He holds a master’s degree in Engineering Management from The Catholic University of America, as well as a master’s degree in Meteorology and Physical Oceanography from the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, California.

Upon commissioning, he initially served as a submarine warfare officer and transferred to naval oceanography in 2007. Prior to retiring from the Navy and joining Mythos AI, Captain Smith served as a member of the Navy’s Information Warfare Community as the Director of the Maritime Safety Office at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). In that role he was directly responsible for all aspects of the U.S. government including DoD safety of navigation including updates and modernization of nautical charts, warnings, publications and international charting authority responsibilities globally.

At sea, Dwight served aboard USS NORFOLK (SSN 714) as a division officer and aboard CARRIER STRIKE GROUP TEN onboard USS HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN 72) as the strike group meteorologist and oceanographer.

Ashore, he served at the Officer in Charge of Training Materials for the SSBN/SSGN missile systems at Strategic Systems Programs, action officer at Fleet Numerical Meteorological and Oceanography Center, military instructor in the U.S. Naval Academy Oceanography department, Defense Intelligence Agency/Joint Staff – J2 METOC/GEOINT Officer, Executive Officer/Deputy Superintendent of the U.S. Naval Observatory and Director of Space Operations and Integration at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Dwight commanded the Naval Oceanography Special Warfare Center (NOSWC) in Coronado, California from 2017 – 2019.

His awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2 awards), the Navy Expeditionary Medal and various unit and sea service awards.

Cleo serves as the VP of Commercial Strategy at Havoc, driving the company’s commercial growth and strategic partnership ecosystem. Her career spans leadership roles in high-growth technology companies, nearly a decade of strategic advisory work at McChrystal Group, and academic research in asymmetric warfare.

Before joining Havoc, she played a key role in scaling Alation into a unicorn and later a centaur within the data intelligence sector. Cleo holds a master’s degree in Nonproliferation.

BG George H. Walter, USA

Brigadier General George H. Walter commands the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Southwestern Division, headquartered in Dallas, Texas. One of eight regional divisions in USACE, the Southwestern Division directs six districts, including Fort Worth, Galveston, Little Rock, and Tulsa. Its area of responsibility spans all or parts of six states—covering 376,300 square miles and serving more than 36 million people.

Additionally, the Division has responsibility for the US Central Command Construction, supporting U.S. warfighters and strengthening defense partnerships across 21 nations in the Middle East, Central and South Asia, and the Levant. The work in the CENTCOM area of responsibility is led through the Middle East District in Winchester, Virginia, and the Expeditionary District in Kuwait.

Prior to taking command of the Southwestern Division, Walter served as Plans Division Chief in the Operations Directorate of HQDA G-9. Walter’s previous assignments include serving as the Assistant Chief of Staff, Operations, for the XVIII Airborne Corps. Additionally, he served as a Lieutenant in the 82d Airborne Division, Company Commander in 173d Airborne Brigade, S3/XO in the 82d Airborne Division, Battalion Command with 6BEB in 4-25 IBCT (ABN), and Brigade Command in 20th Engineer Brigade.

Walter had broadening assignments with 7th Army Training Command, Aide-de-Camp at the Southern European Task Force, Active Component/Reserve Component Team Chief in 1st Army, observer/controller at the Joint Readiness Training Center and later LNO to FORSCOM, Chief of Staff for the US European Command Logistics Directorate (J4), Executive Officer to the EUCOM Deputy Commander and as both Division and Corps Level Command Engineers.

Walter is a graduate of the Engineer Basic Course, Infantry Captains Career Course, and the US Army War College. In addition to a Master of Strategic Studies from Carlisle, he also has a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. He received his Commission into the Corps of Engineers after graduation from the United States Military Academy in 1996.

A Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Service Chiefs’ Fellow and Project Management Professional, Walter has operational and combat experience in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. His awards and decorations include the Ranger Tab, Combat Action Badge, and Master Parachutist Badge with bronze service star.

Nancy Lueke

Nancy Lueke is an Assistant Director with GAO, the investigative arm of Congress. She has worked in the Physical Infrastructure team leading transportation safety and federal asset management projects for more than 20 years. Her recent work covers a range of topics, including the use of automation technologies in U.S. ports as well as the impacts of advanced driver assistance technologies in passenger vehicles on consumers. Nancy graduated from the Humphrey School at the University of Minnesota in 2003 with a Master of Public Policy and a Certificate in Transportation Studies.

Randy Giveans

Randy Giveans was appointed Executive Vice President of Navigator Gas US and Head of Investor Relations and Business Development in North America in April 2022.

Prior to joining Navigator, Mr. Giveans was the Senior Analyst and Group Head of the Energy Maritime Shipping Equity Research Group and a Senior Vice President at Jefferies. He covered 32 energy maritime shipping companies that transport crude oil, refined petroleum products, LNG, LPG, dry bulk commodities, and containers.

In 2019, 2020, and 2021, he was named to Institutional Investor’s (I.I.) All-America Research Team, and in 2018, he was named an Institutional Investor All-America Research “Rising Star.” In 2021, Mr. Giveans was a Top 5 stock picker across all sector analysts according to TipRanks, and in 2018, he was ranked as the #1 Stock Picker for Shipping in the Thomson Reuters Analyst Awards. Prior to joining Jefferies in 2011, he worked as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Corporate Finance department at Continental/United Airlines.

Mr. Giveans received a Bachelor of Science in Finance/Economics from Spring Hill College and an MBA in Finance with an Energy Specialization from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.
