The Texas Ports Association (TPA) is a statewide alliance of 21 maritime ports and industry affiliates across the Gulf Coast and inland waterways. TPA advocates for public policy that strengthens port infrastructure, enhances operational efficiency, improves intermodal transportation, and drives economic growth throughout the state.

Texas ports generate more than $713 billion in statewide economic activity, representing 28% of the Texas GDP. TPA fosters collaboration among member ports and public agencies to support project development, attract private investment, create jobs, and ensure the long-term competitiveness of Texas’ maritime gateway system.
