American Great Lakes Ports Association

The American Great Lakes Ports Association (AGLPA) is the only organization dedicated exclusively to U.S. Great Lakes public ports and the communities they serve. For nearly 50 years, we’ve advanced policies and investments that strengthen maritime commerce, grow regional industry, and protect the waters we all depend on. As the largest commercial ports on the Great Lakes, our 15 member ports collectively represent a vital economic engine. Through our united voice, we ensure the critical role of Great Lake-St. Lawrence Seaway shipping is recognized regionally, nationally, and globally.

BIMCO

BIMCO is the world’s largest international shipping association, with over 2,000 members in around 130 countries, representing 62% of the world’s tonnage.

Blue Sky Maritime Coalition

The Blue Sky Maritime Coalition acts to accelerate the U.S. and Canada maritime value chain’s pathway to net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by jointly developing and executing a roadmap to a commercially viable net-zero emission logistics value chain. Cross-functional collaboration will be utilized to enable swift mobilization and tangible, sustainable results.

The Inter-American Committee on Ports (CIP) is a key forum for promoting cooperation and development among the National Port Authorities of the Americas, focusing on secure, competitive, and sustainable port operations.

Inland Rivers, Ports & Terminals, Inc.

INLAND RIVERS, PORTS & TERMINALS, INC., is a membership driven, nationwide trade association. It was chartered as a non-profit corporation in 1974 under the laws of the State of Missouri. The IRPT is a relatively young organization which was founded in 1974.

Founded in 1929, the Greater Houston Port Bureau is a member driven, non-profit trade organization dedicated to promoting commerce and cooperation in the maritime industry.

Port Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC)

The Port Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC) seeks to improve the proficiency of member ports and the quality of services provided to users, specifically through the facilitation of appropriate training. Moreover, amidst developments within the maritime industry, the Association strives to remain relevant by delivering critical services to members, which entail the sharing of experience, information, and ideas, as well as advocacy and representation at multilateral levels.

Texas Ports Association

The Texas Ports Association (TPA) is a statewide alliance of 21 maritime ports and industry affiliates across the Gulf Coast and inland waterways. TPA advocates for public policy that strengthens port infrastructure, enhances operational efficiency, improves intermodal transportation, and drives economic growth throughout the state.

The North American Marine Environment Protection Association

The North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA) is a maritime industry-led organization of environmental stewards preserving the marine environment by promoting sustainable marine industry best practices and educating seafarers, students and the public about the need and strategies for protecting global ocean, lake and river resources.

U.S. Coast Guard Academy Alumni Association

The U.S. Coast Guard Academy Alumni Association was established in 1887, originally as the Alumni Association of the Revenue Cutter Service in Washington, D.C., growing from a social group to a professional organization supporting the Academy and its alumni.
